Overview

Rock and Roll took the world by storm in the 1950s and 60s forever changing not only music, but society as well. The music originated in America and was influenced by jazz, rhythm and blues, boogie woogie, gospel, jump blues, as well as country music. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame memorializes the people who have made the genre a lasting part of music throughout the world. Visitors can expect to see one of the most impressive collections of memorabilia ever assembled — from John Lennon’s guitar to hip-hop pioneer Jam Master Jay’s gold chains. Plus the gift shop, which sells everything from guitar pick earrings to T-shirts, shot glasses and, of course, music.

The Hyatt Regency at the Arcade in Cleveland sits inside the historic Arcade, a recently restored structure on the National Registry and the first indoor shopping center in America. The hotel is just blocks from The Rock and Roll Hall of fame, as well adjacent to restaurants, nightlife, a casino and a number of other museums.
